Dottie is BRIO artist for Sept.and Oct. She says: "The reason I came to BRIO was to take Susan Falcon Hargrave's pet portrait class. It is 2 yrs. later and I am still here! The classes at BRIO have not only taught me a variety of techniques and color theory, but more importantly has encouraged me to take creative risks in my work. BRIO Fine Arts Center is an art space which offers classes and events in the Fine Arts. BRIO Fine Arts was founded in 2003 as a student/artist exhibition and instructional center. In addition to class offerings, we actively seek proposals from artists for exhibitions and performances. It was established to support local and regional visual and performing artists. Its continuing mission is to present work by emerging area artists, as well as regional and national artists. BRIO seeks to sponsor educational forums and dialogues which address the relationship between art and society.
